William David 'Tony' Anthony

On Wednesday, July 28 2021, William David "Tony" Anthony, loving husband and father of three children, passed away at the age of 63. Tony was born on October 29, 1957 in Allentown, PA to Russel and Ruth Anthony. He served in the U.S. Army from 1975-1979. He received a bachelor and master's degree from the University of Phoenix. Tony worked supporting NASA for the last 28 years. Tony was an avid sports fan. He loved his Philadelphia sports teams and was always watching baseball, football, soccer, and Indy car racing. His passion for sports was evident in the support he provided to his children in supporting their sports endeavors and attended games of theirs as they traveled all over the United States from youth to college sports. Tony continued to support Mayfield High School sports years after his children left the school and was always passionate about supporting local athletes. Tony loved dogs and dogs loved Tony. Tony raised 15 dogs and spoiled them more than his wife or children and fed them ice cream from his spoon. Tony loved his rock music, mullets, and motorcycles. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Russel, and his mother, Ruth. He is survived by his wife Natalie, his three children, Crystal Calloway (Sean), Billy Anthony, and Andrew Anthony (Amanda), his 3 grandchildren, his brothers Paul Mishko and Russ Anthony, his sister Barbara Romig, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. A celebration of life for Tony will be held Thursday August 5th, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Las Cruces, NM at 3 o'clock PM Mountain Time with Pastor Catherine Lemons officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Tony to the Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley. Memorial Service Information
