Virginia L. Adams, 97 of Las Cruces, NM died Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at The Mescalero Care Center in Mescalero, NM. Virginia was born June 22, 1911 in Saltville, Virginia to Charles and Eugenia Engman. She was a resident of Las Cruces since 1980 and was a member of University Church of Christ. Virginia is survived by three daughters, Anne Farmer, (James) of Tularosa, NM; Karen Mills, (William) of Tinley Park, Ill; and Lois Flynn, (Colin) of Battle Creek, Mich. Also surviving her is one brother, Charles Engman of Madison, Wisconsin; five grandsons, and five great grandchildren. Her husband, George and one sister, Zella Puerner, preceded Virginia in death. Funeral services for Virginia will be held in Oak Lawn, Illinois where she will be laid to rest next to her husband. PDF Printable Version
