Trinidad Patricio ''Pate'' Guilez

Trinidad Patricio "Pate" Guilez 73, passed away January 9, 2019 surrounded by family. Patricio was an Army Veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He worked for the Village of Tularosa for over 40 years. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend to all who had the honor of coming in contact with him. He will be loved and greatly missed by many. Pate is survived by his wife of 49 years Teresa Guilez, one son Gilbert Guilez, and one daughter Donna Guilez, 9 grandchildren: Darlene and husband Aaron, Elena, Erika, Carlos, Tiffany, Andrew, Angel, Marcial, and Genevieve, and 14 great-grandchildren: Genevieve, Abel, Isabel, Arianna, Antonio, Silas, Gabriel, Jr., Elijah, Cyrus, Jazalina, Isabella, Samuel, and Ezra. His bond with his granddaughter Darlene was very special. She was his primary care taker who cared for him until the very end without fail. He is also survived by his brother Mario Guilez, sister Sofia Peso, and numerous extended family to include his brother and sister-in-laws and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Carlos & Genoveva Guilez, his daughter Genevieve Guilez, his brothers Carlos Jr. and Mark Guilez, and his in laws Manual & Elena Duran. Services for Pate will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church in Tularosa, NM. The rosary will be recited at 9:30am and Mass will follow at 10:00am. Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Tularosa, New Mexico. Pallbearers are Carlos Guilez, Andrew Guilez, David Salas, Chris Pino, Aaron Marrujo, Dominic Montoya, and Jonathan Duran. Honorary Pallbearers are his brother-in-laws, Tim Duran, Manual Duran, Andy Duran, and Sam Duran. First Visitation
