Terry Rupe

Terry D Rupe, 74, a lifetime resident of Las Cruces, NM entered eternal rest on December 9, 2021 at Mesilla Valley Hospice. Terry was born on March 5, 1947, to Hubert and Evaleen Rupe. He served honorably in the US Army and was a lifetime member of The Elks Lodge 1019 and VFW Post 10124. Back in his prime days, he enjoyed playing baseball and golf. He also watched western movies over and over again. He worked in construction his entire life from concrete, hydraulics and building roads. His children meant everything to him and if you knew him, you knew he was extremely proud of the successes of his daughters. He is survived by his wife Barbara of 32 years, his daughters Marissa Simpson, Leslie (Kyle) Kozloski, sister Dianna Rupe, grandson Aaron Rupe and not to forget his faithful dog Ginger. He also raised two stepchildren, Lynda Herron and Laurie Sprague. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Larry Rupe, and his son's Terry, Jr. and Keith. Please join us to celebrate the precious life of Terry on December 15, 2021, from 5 - 7 pm at Getz Funeral Home, 1410 E. Bowman Ave. Las Cruces, NM 88001. He will be cremated and buried at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at a later date.
