Sharla Davis

Sharla G. Davis of Las Cruces passed away on April 14, 2023, at the age of 59. Sharla was born on September 1, 1963 in Las Cruces to Raymond Davis and Nancy Dowell Davis. She was a graduate of Mayfield High School. Sharla was born special but to her family and friends she made them feel special. She had quirky little things that she did that entertained, and like a child, her excitement was contagious. She loved spending time with her family, especially her niece and nephews and her beloved dog Karley. Sharla also loved trips to town, holidays, parties, and being around people. Her sisters were so blessed to have a little sister who remained a child with all of the wonder and love that comes with innocence. She taught us many things including patience. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Sharla was preceded in death by her parents Raymond Davis and Nancy Dowell Davis and her brother Ray Davis. She is survived by her sisters Pam Davis (Dennis Applegate), Lori Colquitt (Juan), nephews Derick Davis (Parrish), Matthew Colquitt (Ruby Carrasco) and her niece JennaKay Colquitt.
