Samuel Antonié Perrault

Samuel Perrault, 17, passed away on July 2, 2024, in Las Cruces, NM. Samuel was born on February 21, 2007 in Las Cruces, New Mexico, to Gabriel Perrault & LeAnn McCormick, raised by his Dad and Grandparents.

Samuel had many struggles and challenges during his 17 years and could not overcome what he was fighting inside. His family never abandoned him they were there everyday trying to guide him through eachday. There are many among us fighting, do not stop advocating for them! Samuel had a community of those who are struggling they will need help.

Samuel attended Mayfield High and was a junior. He expressed interest in auto mechanics, racing and was very mechanical minded. He loved to cook varies concoctions, his favorite food was steak and tacos with lots of hot sauce.He was raised from the age of 4 in the loving home with his Grandparents and with the help of his Dad, Samuel was able to experience many things in life such as racing, soccer, hunting, and traveled out of state in his younger years.

Samuel was best known for his love of classic cars. As Sammy got older, he obtained his drivers permit and was acquiring mechanical skills using various resources to fix up a 1973 Pontiac as well as a 1978 Chrysler in which he was currently working on. It is all about the look and sound, the louder the better!

Samuel is survived by Gabriel Perrault - father, who was Gabriel's only child, his grandparents and many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. Samuel was from a large family of Perrault's in New Mexico and was blessed to have so many cousins of all ages to grow up with. He had half siblings in other states on birth mothers side.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Getz Funeral Home, with Rosary to follow at 7:00 pm.

The Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church inurnment in the Columbarium will take place at a later date at Holy Cross
