Ryan Cory Davis

Ryan Cory Davis, 45, passed away on October 22, 2024, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana, Ryan attended Bloomington High School North, graduating in 1998. After high school he joined the U.S. Air Force, where he served with distinction, including several tours overseas, most notably in Iraq and Kuwait. 

 Ryan retired from the Air Force in 2014 and achieved the rank of 1st Lieutenant. While serving in the Air Force, Ryan earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska and became a Physician Assistant. Following his military career, he continued to be a practicing Physician Assistant in New Mexico. Ryan was a unique soul and had a deep love for hiking the various trails throughout the Southwest. 

 Ryan is survived by his daughters, Hayden and Maddyn Davis of Indianapolis, IN, his mother, Mary Ann Davis of Lubbock, TX, his father, Jack Davis of Bloomington, IN, and his brother, Kevin (Inka) Davis and nieces Ella and Lily Davis of Frisco, TX. Ryan will be remembered for his sense of humor, love of nature, being a devoted fan of the Indianapolis Colts, and service to his country. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
