It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Teodoro Rodolfo “Rudy” L. Marin, who passed away peacefully at home on January 2, 2025, at the age of 93, surrounded by his loved ones.

 Born on November 9, 1931, in Las Cruces, NM he was the cherished son of Filomeno Marin and Josefina Lucero. Rudy was deeply loved and respected for his generous spirit and his unwavering commitment to his family.

 Rudy honorably and actively served his country in the United States Army, a testament to his sense of duty and commitment. After his service, he retired from the United States Postal Service.

 He was a man who lived for physical activity and had a deep passion for sports, with boxing being the center of that love.

 A devoted husband and father, Rudy spent his life showering his wife, Delia Bernal Marin, and his children with unconditional love, always putting their happiness before his own. His kind heart, strength, and devotion made him a cherished figure in the lives of everyone who knew him.

 He is survived by his daughters, Carol Ann Marin, and JoAnn Marin. Grandchildren: Teddy Nieto, James Nieto, Amanda Melendrez, Rudy Melendrez, Bernadette Zepeda, Justin Zepeda, Erin Burke, and Taylor Camargo. Eighteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

 He is also mourned by his sister, Margaret Maruffo, and his many cousins. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Delia Bernal Marin, his precious daughter, Diana Zepeda, and his brother, Robert "Bobby" Marin.

 A private family ceremony will be held later to honor and celebrate his life.

 He will forever be deeply missed, and his memory will remain in the hearts of all who loved him.
