Ruby Ruth Martin
November 2, 1935 — June 6, 2017
Ruby Ruth Martin died peacefully in her home in Dona Ana, New Mexico on June 6, 2017 at the age of 81 after a courageous battle with cancer. Ruby is survived by her children; George Martin, Linda Martin, and Terry Martin of Dona Ana, Peggy Harris of Houston, and Margie Reyer of Roswell. Ruby is also survived by her sister Betty Miller of Arizona. Ruby had 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Amos Terrell and Martha Terrell, Husband, Billy Wayne, children Jimmy Ray and Billy Lee, and siblings Butch, Dorothy, William, Charles, and Lewis. Ruby was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Getz Funeral Home, 1410 E. Bowman, Las Cruces. Burial service will be conducted at 10:00am on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Masonic Cemetery. The service will be officiated by Jeff Turkot.
