Ruben Gonzalez Mancha

Ruben Gonzalez Mancha, age 59, passed away on Friday, July 19th, 2024, at 2 PM at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM. Ruben was born on May 4, 1965, in Tulare, CA. Ruben was the beloved son of Felix P. Mancha, and Ramona Gonzalez.

Ruben was a skilled Master Electrician whose expertise and dedication were admired by all who knew him. Beyond his professional life, Ruben had a passion for motorcycles and found joy in the freedom they represented. He was also a man of faith, a committed Christian whose beliefs guided his life. Ruben was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 611.

He leaves behind his brothers, Jose Felix Mancha (Minerva), Richard G. Mancha (Esther), and Frank G. Mancha, step sisters Bertha Wilson Guerrero, Alice Pierce, Debbie G. Mancha, and step brother Robert Gonzalez. Ruben was preceded in death by his father, Felix P. Mancha, mother, Ramona Gonzalez and his nephew, Jamie Mancha.

Friends and family are invited to a viewing on Thursday, August 8th, from 5 PM to 8 PM at Getz Funeral Home, 1410 E. Bowman Ave. Las Cruces NM 88001. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 9th, at 10 AM at Getz Funeral Home, with the burial following at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Ruben will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
