Ruben A. Silva

LAS CRUCES – RUBEN A. SILVA passed away peacefully on December 15, 2024, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Ruben was born in Las Cruces to Willie V. Silva and Maria Holguin Silva on November 3, 1954. Ruben attended Mayfield High School and worked in various occupations. He was a Green Bay Packers fan. Ruben is survived by two daughters who he loved dearly, Angela Silva Edwards and Amanda Montes Silva and three grandchildren. Sisters Christine S. Garcia, Viola J. Silva and brother Gilbert L. Silva.

Ruben was preceded in death by his father Willie Silva and mother Maria Holguin Silva.

The Funeral will be on Tuesday February 18, 2025, at 10:00 am at San Jose Cemetery in La Mesa, NM officiated by Father Alonso Quinones. Following thereafter, Celebration of Life at The Hidden Gem Event Space, 1300 Avenida de Mesilla Suite #210, Las Cruces, NM.
