Robbie Lee Scott, U.S. Army Major Retired was born August 11, 1913 in Memphis, TN. and passed away April 11, 2014 at The Aristocrat, Las Cruces, NM at the age of 100 years and 8 months. Robbie had a wonderful life dedicated to serving others and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a decorated career Army Nurse and retired at the rank of Major. Robbie served her country honorably in Europe during WW II, the Korean War, and Vietnam. Robbie loved oil painting, music, fishing, attending church, and spending time with her family. She was a member of Clarks River Baptist Church- Symsonia, KY. Predeceased by parents, Robert Edward Lee Scott and Louisa Catherine Clopton Scott. Also predeceased by siblings, Pauline (Polly) Scott Lehman (Tyrus), Pat Scott, and Ray Scott. Survived by sister, Rose Louise Scott Norman - Las Cruces, NM. Also survived by nieces, Cathy Norman Daugherty (Jim) - Elida, NM, Laurie Norman - Las Cruces, NM, Debbie Lehman Collie - Hardin, KY and nephew, David R. Lehman (Kathy) - Hendersonville, TN and seven great, great nieces and nephews. Visitation for friends and family was held at Getz Funeral Home in Las Cruces, NM on Monday, April 14. A graveside Military service to be held at Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, Texas.
