Rickie Cox

Rickie Wayne Cox, age 62, was called home by the Lord on Saturday, October 29, 2016 in Las Cruces, NM after a short illness. He was born in Denton, Texas on December 3, 1953 to Cecile and Wayne Cox, the oldest of three sons. Rickie was a loving and devoted husband, father, and stepfather, He held degrees in Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering. He devoted many years of his career to servicing U.S. Military facilities. Rickie loved his home and spent many enjoyable hours doing home improvement projects. He also spent many weekends cooking for family and friends. Rickie enjoyed playing guitar, hunting, fishing, and horseback riding. His final career position was Project Manager for (NASCO) Mirador. Rickie leaves behind his wife, Gabriele Cox, his father Wayne O. Cox, sons, Richard Cunningham, Scott Cunningham, and Evan Cox, brothers, David Cox and Russell Cox, stepsons, Matt Walczak, Mario Selle, and stepdaughter, Mia Selle Clifton and husband Sean Clifton. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cecilie Cox. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at the Getz Funeral Home Chapel, 1410 E.
