Richard Stiles Jr.

Richard Nathan Stiles, Jr., 65, a resident of Las Cruces, died on Friday, October 28, 2022. Richard was a kind and generous man, always helping those around him in both big and small ways. He was devoted to his family, and those he loved like family, and many of them lovingly call him "Uncle Richie". He was born on July 14, 1957, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He moved to Silver City in 1972 and lived there for many years before moving to Las Cruces. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Stiles, Sr. and Phyllis Stiles, his younger brother Keith Stiles and niece Lacy Stiles, and his brother-in-law Bill Blase and nephew Justin Blase. He is survived by his older sister, Linda Stiles Blase of Las Cruces, and his youngest brother Alan Stiles (wife Coni) of Chandler, Arizona, aunts, uncles, cousins and many nieces, nephews, lifelong friends and those who he touched throughout his life.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022, at 1:30 p.m., at Getz Funeral Home in Las Cruces with a reception to follow at La Posta restaurant. The Rev. Joe Andrews will officiate.
