Richard Ruben Figueroa

Richard Figueroa, 70, of El Paso, TX, passed away on December 15, 2022, in Las Cruces, NM. Richard was born in El Paso, TX, to Luis and Elena Figueroa. After serving in the United States Navy, he graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso. He pursued a career in civil engineering, and in 2013 received an award from the California Department of Transportation for his contributions to building the east span of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. He is preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Figueroa. Richard is survived by his children, Jean Adel Figueroa, Amanda Kelan Figueroa, and Eleazar Sagan Figueroa, granddaughters Alyssa Marrufo and Alexis Marrufo, great-grandson Benjamin Rubio, and his siblings Dolores Fleming, Olga Figueroa, Robert Figueroa, and David Figueroa. Rosary and funeral services with burial to follow will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at 1:30 PM at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Las Cruces. Service Information
