Our Precious Beloved Ricarda S. Sanchez loved us all and we loved her more! Ricarda entered eternal life on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, peacefully at home with her loved ones at her bedside.
She was born April 3, 1922 in Barstow, Texas to Victorio and Rosalia Sanchez, she was raised in New Mexico; Anthony, Derry, Hatch, and Las Cruces.
She is survived by 7 of 8 children, Elva Enriquez (Ralph); Max S. Sanchez (Lupe); Rosalie Amezquita (Raul); Aurora Valverde (Richard); Josefina Sanchez; Eddie Sanchez (Alice); Jesse Sanchez (Elva). Also surviving her are 24 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren and 28 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Max R. Sanchez and her daughter Velia Bueno-Enrique.
The Rosary for Mrs. Sanchez is scheduled for Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 10:00AM at St. Genevieve’s Catholic Church, the Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:30AM. Burial will take place at 11:30AM at St. Josephs Catholic Cemetery.
Serving as Pall Bearers will be Enrique S. Bueno, Carlos G. Sanchez, Jessica Sanchez, Cyanne Vasquez, Josh Sanchez, and Ivan Aguilar. Honorary Pall Bearer Danny Morales.
