Reyes was nothing short of a strong man that overcame any obstacles life threw his direction. From the railroad, to the barber shop, car repair shop, and even the mine; Reyes has always been a self-made man. Aside from his dedication to his many trades in the working field, his music was his passion. This man was loved by so many. There was not a plant he could not grow. There was not a single project he could not tackle with his bare hands. This man could not be stopped. If there was ever a barrier, he would climb. If he could not climb, he would crawl. If he could not crawl, he would build steps brick by brick until he reached the other side. Reyes Garcia was not only an uncle and sibling to brothers, sisters, and their many children, but also a father and husband. Before his passing, Reyes was widowed years ago by the mother of eight out of his ten children. Before meeting Gustavina B Garcia, Reyes fathered one son and one daughter. After meeting the beautiful Gustavina, they shared 48 years together and had eight children. One son and seven daughters. After the loss of his lovely Gustavina, Reyes spent some years healing alongside his children before finding love once again with Maria Mercedes. Maria stood by his side the next 15 years leading up to his passing taking amazing care of Reyes as he aged to his 95th year here on earth. She stood by his side until his very last breath. Reyes is survived by his wife Maria, his son Hugo and his seven daughters Myrna, Criselda, Alma, Beatrice, Norma, Gloria, and Juliet as well as his countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There will never be enough words to fully describe Reyes Garcia. Apa, we will miss you until the day we meet you once again. You have left a space in our world that can never be filled. We carry you in our hearts. We cling to the memory of your strong hands, laughter, and powerful voice. You are always invited to visit us in our dreams. We love you, Apa. A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 5:00 pm at Getz Funeral Home Chapel followed by rosary at 7:00pm. Funeral service will be held at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 9:30 am followed by Burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Reyes fue nada menos que un hombre fuerte que super cualquier obstculo que la vida le arrojara. Desde el ferrocarril, hasta la peluquera, el taller de reparacin de automviles e incluso la mina; Reyes siempre ha sido un hombre hecho a s mismo. Aparte de su dedicacin a sus muchos oficios en el campo laboral, su m&uacutesica era su pasin. Este hombre era amado por muchos. No haba una planta que no pudiera cultivar. No haba un solo proyecto que no pudiera abordar con sus propias manos. Este hombre no poda ser detenido. Si alguna vez haba una barrera, l escalara. Si no poda trepar, se arrastraba. Si no poda gatear, construa escalones ladrillo por ladrillo hasta llegar al otro lado. Reyes Garca no solo era to y hermano de hermanos, hermanas y sus muchos hijos, sino tambin padre y esposo. Antes de su fallecimiento, Reyes enviud hace aos de la madre de ocho de sus diez hijos. Antes de conocer a Gustavina B Garca, Reyes tuvo un hijo y una hija. Despus de conocer a la bella Gustavina, compartieron 48 aos juntos y tuvieron ocho hijos. Un hijo y siete hijas. Despus de la prdida de su encantadora Gustavina, Reyes pas algunos aos curndose junto a sus hijos antes de encontrar el amor una vez ms con Mara Mercedes. Mara estuvo a su lado los siguientes 15 aos previos a su fallecimiento cuidando increblemente a Reyes mientras envejeca hasta sus 95 aos aqu en la tierra. Ella estuvo a su lado hasta su &uacuteltimo aliento. A Reyes le sobreviven su esposa Mara, su hijo Hugo y sus siete hijas Myrna, Criselda, Alma, Beatrice, Norma, Gloria y Julieta, as como sus innumerables nietos y bisnietos. Nunca habr palabras suficientes para describir completamente a Reyes Garca. Apa, te echaremos de menos hasta el da en que nos encontremos contigo una vez ms. Has dejado un espacio en nuestro mundo que nunca podr ser llenado. Te llevamos en nuestros corazones. Nos aferramos al recuerdo de sus manos fuertes, risas y voz poderosa. Siempre ests invitado a visitarnos en nuestros sueos. Te amamos, Apa. Una visita est programada para el jueves 13 de abril de 2023 a las 5:00 pm en Getz Funeral Home Chapel seguida de un rosario a las 7:00 pm. El servicio f&uacutenebre se llevar a cabo en la Iglesia Catlica Santa Rosa De Lima el viernes 14 de abril de 2023 a las 9:30 a.m., seguido del entierro en el cementerio de San Jos.
