Remy Sigala

Remedios "Remy" Sigala died in a car accident caused by a drunk driver on 12/22/2022 in Las Cruces, NM at the age of 56. Remy was born on April 4, 1966 in Canutillo, Texas to Manny & Martha Sigala. Remy was an excellent cook and was known for her green enchiladas, that were always hot no matter how much she tried to make them mild, and her rice. Remy had a multitude of friends and couldn't go anywhere, even on out-of-town trips, without seeing someone she knew. Remy loved with all of her heart and made sure everyone around her knew how much she cared about them. She sent daily text messages to her loved ones to check in on them and to wish them a blessed day. Remy always ended text messages and phone calls with, "I love you". Remy may have been short in stature but her personality and caring nature made her a giant. Remy is survived by her two sons, David Villegas Jr. "DJ" (Nubia Villasenor) and Aaron Villegas (Lexi Lujan), her first unborn grandchild, David Villegas (father of her children) and step-grandchildren, Ethan, George, Dylan and Adeline. Siblings, Liz Milks (Robert), Barbie Garcia, and half-sister Debra Sigala. She is also survived by multiple nieces, nephews and her "fur babies" Perla and Brownie. Remy is preceded in death by her daughter "Angel", her mother Martha Sigala, father Manny Sigala and half-brother Tony Medrano. Funeral services will be held at Getz Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 10:00am beginning with Rosary followed by a Prayer Vigil. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Remy's life.
