Priscilla Miranda Garcia

Priscilla Miranda Garcia, 56, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, passed away on July 2, 2024, in Albuquerque, NM. Born on June 21, 1968, in Las Cruces, she was the daughter of Manuel G. Garcia and Mary Linda Giron Garcia.

 Priscilla graduated from Mayfield High School and later earned her Associate's Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, and Tourism from Dona Ana Community College. She had a fulfilling career in Merchandising, where she took immense pride in her work.

 A devoted mother and grandmother, Priscilla is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Marquez (Jerry Marquez) and Stacey Clayshulte (Keith Janssen); son, Tyler Clayshulte (Wesley Noe); grandsons, Jordan Gist, Ruben Orona, and Isaac Orona; granddaughter, Ava; great-grandson, Jeremiah Orona; her father, Manuel G. Garcia; siblings, Roberta Sylvis (Robert), Cristina Lopez (Sal), Melissa Archetti (Ralph), Kenneth T. Garcia (Jessie), Manny Garcia, and Peter Garcia; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Linda Garcia; sisters, Cindy and Sophia Garcia; late ex-husband and friend, Nick Clayshulte; and daughter, Brenda Lenderman.

 Priscilla was an exceptionally creative individual, known for her beautiful crafts which she generously shared with friends, family, and the community. Her hobbies included fishing, camping, and playing Bingo, but her true passion was crafting, especially making holiday wreaths and decor. She was an active participant in her children’s school activities, contributing her creative talents to their yearbooks and holiday celebrations.

 The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 2:30 PM at Getz Funeral Home, located at 1410 E Bowman Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88001. Priscilla's loving spirit and memorable smile will forever be cherished and missed by all who knew her.
