Beyond his professional and spiritual commitments, P.J. found joy on the greens of the golf course, in the camaraderie of fast pitch softball, and in the quiet moments spent teaching catechism. His love for baseball was a lifelong affair, one that he shared generously with all who knew him.
P.J. was a caring father to his children: Paul (Shirley), Mike (Norma), Dave (Peggy), and Anne; his grandchildren: Jennifer, Darrin (Amy), Shayla, Tamara (Kelly), Shelby (Ryan), Harry (Brittany), and Maddie; and his eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores; his parents, Harriett and Charles; and his siblings, Charles, Robert, and Rosemary.
The family will receive friends and relatives for a viewing on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. at Our Lord of Mercy, followed by the Holy Mass at 2:00 p.m. The rite of committal will take place at Hatch Cemetery, where P.J. will be laid to rest.
