Paul Edward Heilman

Paul Edward Heilman, 65 of Las Cruces, NM died Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at his home. Paul was born August 26, 1940 in Bloomdale Ohio to Paul and Marcella Heilman. Paul had served his country for over 22 years in the US Army and had retired as a Staff Sergeant. He was in the 101st airborne division and was a master paratrooper. Paul was a resident of the Las Cruces area for about one year coming from Clarksville, Tennessee and a member of Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church. Paul is survived by his wife of 45 years, Elma; five sons, Paul E. Heilman II of Las Cruces, NM; Phillip Heilman of Las Cruces, NM; Patrick Heilman of Defiance, Ohio; Peter Heilman of Ft. Bragg, NC; and Daniel Heilman of Las Cruces, NM. One daughter, Tiffaney Heilman of Las Cruces, NM; Two brothers, William Heilman of Cape Coral, Florida and Harry Heilman of Spokane, Washington. One sister, Mary Smith of Seattle, Washington, ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive Paul. His parents, Paul and Marcella, preceded him in death. At Paul's request cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will take place at 10 AM on Monday, July 31, 2006 at Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church, 5035 Holsome Road in Las Cruces, NM. Officiating will be Fr. Andres Alava. The Ft. Bliss Honor Guard will accord full military honors. PDF Printable Version
