Paul D. Bazan

Paul D. Bazan, 48, of Las Cruces, died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010. He was born May 14, 1962 in Las Cruces to Juan and Irene Guerrero Bazan. Paul had been a Property Manager after many years of faithful service from the Las Cruces Housing Authority. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and bowling but his passion was for his family. Paul will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his parents Juan and Irene Bazan of the family home; brother John Bazan and wife Anita of La Mesa; sister Veronica Gonzalez and husband Carlos of Las Cruces; aunts and uncles Micki Gallegos and husband Frank of Espanola, NM,Frank Guerrero of California, Lencho Bazan of Anthony, NM, Mary Lou Salazar and husband Sonny of Santa Fe, NM, Sylvia Barnes and husband Mike of Las Cruces, Julio Bazan, Alfred Bazan and wife Mary, Louie Bazan and wife Eva Lou and Tencha Guerrero all of Texas. Also surviving him are his nieces Angelica and Celina; nephews C.J., Jaime, Steven and Avelardo; grandniece Serenitii and grandnephew Izac. Paul was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, Aunt Rosa and Uncle Frank. A prayer vigil will be at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, Nov.3, 2010 at St. Genevieve's Catholic Church where Paul's Memorial Mass will follow at 10 AM.
