Patrick Ramon Mirabal

Patrick "Pat" Ramon Mirabal, 71, of Las Cruces, NM, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2024. Pat was born on January 5, 1953, in El Paso, Texas, to Bessie Montoya and Frank Mirabal.

Pat graduated from Mayfield High School in Las Cruces, NM, and continued his education at New Mexico State University. He then proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a dental assistant, spending part of his service overseas in Germany.

Pat was a kind-hearted man who took care of children that were not his own, showing immense generosity and love. He is survived by his son, Joseph Ulrich, and he was cherished grandfather figure to, Aliyah, Elizabeth, Samantha, and Izayah. He is also survived by his sister, Rosella. His siblings, Loretta, Frank, and Rey, preceded him in death.

Pat was a beacon of positivity and humor, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His infectious laughter and optimistic outlook on life brought joy to those around him. He had a passion for bargain hunting at local yard sales, finding delight in the thrill of discovery and the opportunity to connect with others in his community. Pat's love for his friends and family knew no bounds, and he treasured every moment spent in their company.

A service to celebrate Pat's life will be held on Friday, June 21st, at the VFW on Valley Drive.

Pat will be remembered for his warm heart, his entrepreneurial spirit, and his dedication to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
