Otis O. Fields

Otis O. Fields 88 of Las Cruces died Saturday March 5, 2011. He was born Dec. 1, 1922 in El Paso, TX, to Joseph and Rose Buck Fields. Otis was a veteran of the US Army where he served our country honorably during WW II. While in the service he was awarded the American Defense Service Medal, American Theater Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Victory Ribbon and the Campaign Medal with 4 Bronze Stars. Mr. Fields will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Otis is survived by his two sons Allen Fields and wife Monika of El Paso, TX, and Tom O'Keefe of Cloudcroft, NM; five grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. A graveside service to celebrate his life will be at 10 am on Thursday March 10, 2011 at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery with Pastors Fred and Laurel Hofeldt of Judeo-Christian Israel Alliance officiating. The US Army will provide military honors. PDF Printable Version
