Olga Massl

September 2, 1912 — January 2, 2005

Mrs. Massl went home to be with God on January 2, 2005 at La Posada Mesilla Valley Hospice. She was born September 2, 1912 in Muerau, Czech Republic the daughter of Adolf and Karoline Herzig. After the 2nd World War she left with her children and parents to West Germany. There she worked as a secretary for 25 years at Siemens Electronics Co. In 1983 she immigrated to the United States and lived 4 years in El Paso, Texas and 11 years in Hollister, California before moving to Las Cruces in 1998. Mrs. Massl is survived by her daughters Ingrid Hulsey and Traudl Green of Las Cruces, son-in-law Bill Hulsey of New Mexico, her grandchildren and spouses; Peter and Evangelina Hulsey of New Mexico, Kim and Elliott Benson of Michigan and Bill Jr. and Donna Hulsey of Texas, Mark and Diane Green of California, Corrine and Craig Madsen of North Carolina; her great grandchildren Bjorn, Bryce and Lindsay Benson, Andrea, Katarina and Gina Hulsey, Trey Hulsey, Taylor and Shelby Green, Xander, Grace and Zoe Madsen. She is also leaving Hildegard Massl, Anneliese Staiger and Liselotte Bork, her friends and relatives in Germany. A private celebration of her life will be held on Friday.
