Nona Lee Moss
January 3, 1937 — December 15, 2006
Nona Lee Moss, 69, of Las Cruces died Friday December 15, 2006. She was born January 3, 1937 in Connerville, Oklahoma to Pal and Lissie Schultz. Nona served honorably in the United States Army. She was very active in the V.F.W. as well as the Ladies Auxiliary in Las Cruces, but her heart was always in Oklahoma. Nona also loved to go to the casino, and play the lottery. She will be greatly missed by all family and friend who new and loved her. She is survived by one son Garry Moss and wife Maryann of Las Vegas, Nevada, Two Daughters Laura Moss of Las Cruces, Trina Johnson and husband Isaiah of Cocoa, Florida, Two Brothers Ernest Schultz and wife Carolyn of Ada, Oklahoma, Clarence schultz of Houston, Texas, Two sisters Ellen Gibson of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Nena Turner of Ft. Worth, Texas, and nine grandchildren Nicole, Joshua, Treavor, Naomi, Stefanie Moss, Zachariah, Sarah, and Josiah Johnson Sofia Johnson. Nona was preceded in death by her mother and father, four brothers Leon, Emmitt, Jimmy, Tom Schultz, and two sisters, Shirley, and Pauline Schultz. A visitation will be held at Getz Funeral Home on Wednesday December 20, 2006 from 5-7 PM. Funeral Rite will be held on Thursday December 21, 2006 at 10 AM in the Getz Funeral Home Chapel.
