Nancy Johnson

Nancy (Terrazas) Johnson age 63, passed away at peace with her family by her side on August 6, 2018 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Nancy was born on March 28, 1955 in Las Cruces, New Mexico to Raul and Esperanza (Quintana) Terrazas. Nancy grew up in Las Cruces and had many friends here. Everyone remembers Nancy best by the laughter she brought into their lives. She always enjoyed being with the people she loves, sharing stories, listening to music, singing, and dancing with them. Nancy always brought people together. She loved to cook and bake for everyone. Her family and friends will miss sitting at her table and enjoying a good meal filled with love and laughter. Nancy graduated from Las Cruces High School and worked in many jobs with children and the elderly. She loved working with people. Nancy is survived by her daughters, Yvette (Macomber) Quigley of Brighton, MI and Kyla (Johnson) Moya of Wildomar, CA, her five grandchildren, Ethan and Brody Erlandson, Neiko and Clive Moya, Amalia Wolfe, siblings, Linda Crist (Lynn Crist), Gloria Schreiner, Liz Clark, and Jerry Terrazas, nephews and nieces, Brian, Darren, Lance, Leslie, April, Kyle, Jordan, RJ, Eric, Amber, Jacob, and Daniel, many great nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her father Raul Terrazas (1983), mother Esperanza (Quintana) Terrazas (2002), Brother David Terrazas (2007), and sister Dolores Terrazas (1957). A service will be held on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 11 am at Getz Funeral Home 1410 E. Bowman Ave. Las Cruces, New Mexico 88001. Family and friends are welcome to arrive at 10 am.
