Nancy J. Walton

Nancy Jean Junge Walton died peacefully in her home on April 6, 2019 in Las Cruces, NM at the age of 73. Nancy was born on December 20, 1945 in Clinton, Iowa to Edward & Elsie Junge. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1964. After moving to Las Cruces in 1968, Nancy worked for Lamar Gwaltney, Porter Oil and then finally for Mesilla Valley Transportation for nearly 20 years. Nancy loved country music, the color blue, enchiladas from El Sombrero, and she always had a package of M&Ms in her pocket for her grandchildren. She grew up playing the organ, she enjoyed tennis and golf in her younger years, and she loved to make lasagna for her boys. Nancy is survived by her son Matthew, his wife Meredith and their two sons, Jett and Cash of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by her son Eric, his wife Sheila and their five children: Molly, Benjamin, Damien, Sam & Luke of Las Cruces, New Mexico. Nancy is also survived by her older brothers, Ed Junge of Clinton, Iowa and Ron Junge of Dallas, Texas. A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, April 15th at Getz Funeral Home in Las Cruces at 10am. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Nancy's life. Arrangements with Getz Funeral Home, 1410 E.
