Milford N. Roberts

Milford N. Roberts, 81, of Verdugo City, CA and formerly of Las Cruces, died Tuesday, April 19, 2005. He was born July 7, 1923 in Indian Gap, Texas to Abraham and Virginia Roberts. Mr. Roberts will be deeply missed by all his family and friends who knew and loved him. He is survived by his three sons Bob Miller and wife Patsy of Las Cruces, Jack Miller and wife Rose of California and Dick Miller also of California; sister Erma Marwitz of Statesboro, Georgia; 6 grandchildren Kristen Stevens, Nicole Wieland, Dennis Miller, Dawn Hester, Holli Miller and Jackie Cuatt; 4 great-grandchildren who affectionately knew Milford as "Big" Grandpa, Cheyenne, Courtney, Savannah and Skyler. Milford was preceded in death by his beloved wife Janie and by 12 brothers and sisters. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM Friday, April 29, 2005 at Getz Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 30, 2005 also at Getz Funeral Home with Brother Gary Bowser officiating. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery with military honors. Pallbearers are Bryce Hester, Cory Wieland, Shannon Stevens, George Stafford, Harry Smith and Dale Gantz. PDF Printable Version
