Mike S. Ostos

Mike S. Ostos, 65, of Phoenix, Arizona, died on February 22, 2006 in Phoenix. He was born March 8, 1940 in La Mesa, NM to Augustin and Estefana Ostos. Mike was raised in La Mesa before moving to Phoenix where he worked for Pacific Furniture for over 27 years. He had a great love for his family and above all loved the time he would spend with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife Lydia Ostos, three sons; Mike Jr., Tomas and wife Lisa, Fred and wife Denise, and a daughter; Leticia. He is also survived by grandchildren; Michael Alan, Robert, Venessa, Marisa, Geena, Vanessa Marie, Sally Suzanne, Jessica, Eva, Stephanie, Fred Jr., Raquel, Samantha, Brandon, Valaria, and Enrique, great-grandchildren; Adam, Davina, Fernando, Mia, Laylanie, and Jade, one great-great-grandchild; three sisters; Natividad "Nati" Holguin, Eusebia "Chata" Montes, Ofelia Tise, seven brothers; Antonio, David, Victor Enrique "Mickey", Cruz, Augustin, and Fernando Ostos. He is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister Josefina "Pepa" Nevarez. A memorial mass will be given for Mr. Ostos at the San Jose Catholic Church in La Mesa on Saturday, March 4, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Fr. Martin Cordero. The burial of cremains will follow at the San Jose Cemetery in La Mesa. PDF Printable Version
