Miguel Anjel Oliver

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Miguel Anjel Oliver, 45, on March 27, 2025. He was born on November 25, 1979, in Alamogordo, NM. Mickey, as his family and friends knew him, was preceded in death by his father Jesus (Jess) Santiago Oliver, mother Maria del Carmen Oliver, sister, Rosalva Valenciana and brother Jesus (Pott) Oliver.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and leaves behind to cherish his memory, his son Anjel Miguel Oliver. His companion of 16 years Susie Hernandez. Siblings Sandra Oliver, Jesus (Jesse) Oliver, Rose O. Beltran; Yolanda M. Oliver, Terri O. Tango; Esther O. Mendoza and Glory O. Natividad.

Mickey loved unconditionally, never expecting anything in return. He was kind, considerate and would go above and beyond for anyone in need. His smile could warm your heart on the heaviest of days. With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.

Casket bearers will be son; Anjel Miguel Oliver; nephews Cruz Cuevas and Izaak Espinoza; his lifelong friends; Mario Aguilar, Kyle Dominguez, Justin (Copper) Cotton, Victor Hernandez and Raul Hernandez; Honorary casket bearers will be brother: Jesus (Jesse) Oliver; brother-in-law Leo Olivas and friend Ralph Merrill.

A visitation for Mickey will be held on Thursday, April 10th, 2025, starting at 5pm at Getz Funeral Home, 1410 E. Bowman Ave with Rosary to begin at 7pm. A Funeral Mass will be on held on Friday, April 11th, 2025, at 10am at The Cathedral of Immaculate Heart of Mary, 1240 South Espina Street. The Rite of Committal and Interment will be at Masonic Cemetery immediately following.
