Miguel Olivas Evaro Jr.

Miguel Olivas Evaro Jr. of Las Cruces, NM was called home by the Lord on Monday, June 19th, 2017 at the age of 34. He passed peacefully at home with his loving husband and fur babies at his side. He was born August 9th, 1982 in Las Cruces, NM to Miguel Evaro Sr. and Maria Olivas. Miguel was a graduate of Las Cruces High School and was always proud to be a "Bulldog for Life". He was super proud to be a part of the Las Cruces High School Band as member of the drumline. He was an avid fan of the "Fast and Furious" movies because he swore when he was younger that was him and his "crew". He loved all cars, especially working on them. He also had a love for dogs, especially his baby "Nala". He got married to his husband in December of 2014 and had many fur babies. Miguel is survived by his Husband Derek Evaro of Las Cruces, both his parents Miguel Evaro Sr. and Maria Olivas, Josie Evaro and Olga Lopez, his sisters; Sonia Evaro and Randee Evaro, Nieces Ariana Montoya, Yesenia Montoya, Aliciana Evaro and Nephews Brandon Evaro and Isaac Evaro, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday June 27, 2017 from 5pm-7pm in the Getz Funeral Home Chapel with a Prayer Vigil to follow at 7pm. The Funeral Liturgy is scheduled for Wednesday June 28,2017 at 10:30am at The Basilica of San Albino Catholic Church, with interment to follow at Masonic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mandi Reyes-Fresquez, Patrick Fresquez, Cedric Archuleta, Joe Archuleta, Richard Barraza, Richard Montoya, Leo Olivas, Randee Evaro and Honorary Pallbearer Nala Evaro.
