Mary Hopper

Mary Hopper, 79, of Las Cruces died March 6, 2008, at Memorial Medical Center. She was born April 25, 1928 in Rubottom, OK to Jim and Louise King. Mary came to the Hatch Valley at the age of 14 and lived in Hatch and Las Cruces her whole life. She married Harold Eston Hopper February 3, 1946 in Hatch, NM. Mary is survived by her three children, Harold Wayne Hopper of Amarillo, TX; Sharon Hopper of Tucson, AZ; and Danny Hopper of Las Cruces, NM. She is also survived by one sister, Helen Clegg of Las Cruces, NM; brother, Truman King of Ft. Collins, CO; seven Grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Mary is preceded in death by her husband Harold Hopper, her parents Jim and Louise King, and sister Virginia Bernola. A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Friday March 7, 2008 at Getz Funeral Home. A gathering of friends and family will be at 9 AM Saturday March 8, 2008 also in the Getz Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation will follow. PDF Printable Version
