Marta Zubia-Gomez

Marta Zubia Gomez, 61 years old of Las Cruces, NM and El Paso, TX died Thursday evening September 8, 2005 surrounded by her children. She was born October 20, 1943 to Jose and Juana Zubia of El Paso, TX. Marta took great pride in raising her family, which were her greatest treasures. Her life revolved around her children. She will always be remembered for being a stylish and classy lady. She loved life and lived it to the fullest, and was always ready for a road trip. She enjoyed music, dancing, making jewelry, and cooking. She adored her pets Tiny, and Chiquita. Marta is survived by her husband Enrique Gomez, her mother Juana Zubia, and her five children, Priscilla Martinez and husband Fitzgerald of Grants, New Mexico, Michelle De La Cruz, Carleen Clifton and husband Kirk, Jolleen Thomas and husband Jonathan of Las Cruces, New Mexico, and Tony De La Cruz, Jr. of El Paso, Texas . Six grandchildren, Justin, Joey, Tristan, Tyler Martinez, Sasha De La Cruz, and Kaleb Clifton. She was preceeded in death by her father Jose Zubia. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM at the Getz Funeral Home Chapel on Friday September 16, 2005. PDF Printable Version
