Marjorie Buckner

May 31, 1961 — July 6, 2021

Margie Lea Kyle Buckner passed away Tuesday July 6, 2021 at UNM hospital, Albuquerque, NM from a courageous battle with cancer. Margie was born to William and Mary Kyle May 31, 1961, in Canutillo TX. The family moved to Las Cruces, NM where she attended Mayfield High School and went on to receive her associate in medical billing and coding. Margie was an account receivable specialist for Presbyterian Medical Services in Farmington, NM. She greeted everyone with a smile and was available with a compassionate ear for clients, co-workers, and friends. She was always there for those in need. She loved hunting, horses, and family. Her first deer was small, but to hear her describe it, you would have thought it was a trophy buck. Her greatest accomplishment she would say, was her children and grandchildren. Her life was devoted to spending as much time with them as possible. She leaves behind a legacy of love and empathy that touched so many friends and family. Margie was a Christian whose faith allowed her to face all adversity with an undefeatable attitude and a smile. She is survived by her husband of 17 years Monte Buckner, parents William "Bill" and Mary Kyle, brother Walton Kyle (wife Cindy), sister Barbara Davis (husband Art), children Robert Kyle (wife Virginia), William Zinn (wife Marsha), Jennifer Buckner-Shrecengost, Robert Allan Berry (wife Natalia), grandchildren Taylor, Dalton, Scott, Saleasa, Bryce, Maleah, Abel, Reid, C. Adun, Cory, Lynden, and Rayce. Also, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Bill and Eunice Kyle and John and Lois Herring, and precious grandson Samuel Zinn. A celebration of life will be held July 23, 2021 at 10:00AM at Panlener Church of Christ in Las Cruces, NM. Service Information
