Marjorie ??Babe? Agnes Murray Boston

Marjorie "Babe" Agnes Murray Boston, age 90, passed away May 19, 2005 in Austin, Texas. She was born to Michael Francis Murray and Margie Preston Murray on October 30, 1914 in Rushville, Nebraska. She spent her childhood in Nebraska and later moved with her family to Fort Collins, Colorado where she graduated from Colorado A&M with a degree in Home Economics. She married Jody F. Boston on June 29, 1941 in Springer, New Mexico and later, moved to Aztec, New Mexico, where they raised their family. Mrs. Boston was an elementary school teacher in the Aztec School system for 28 years, served as president of the teachers association, and was honored as teacher of the year prior to retirement. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church. After retirement she resided in Las Cruces, New Mexico and Austin, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Jody F. Boston and is survived by her three children, Douglas M. and Ellen K. Boston of Colleyville, Texas, daughter Beth and Joe Parker of Austin, Texas, and son Van P. and Vonda Boston of Cleburne, Texas. She is also survived by six grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at the Masonic Cemetery on Tuesday, May 24, at 10 a.m. for family and friends, followed by a memorial service at University United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. PDF Printable Version
