Maria D. Tomesky, 83, of Las Cruces, died Tuesday, May 5, 2009. She was born March 26, 1926 in Ascencion, Chihuahua, Mexico to Joaquin and Maria Luisa Porras. Maria was a wonderful homemaker always putting her family first. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her four children Franklin, Hector, Herminia and Hermelinda Herrera. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Thomas Tomesky. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at Getz Funeral Home where a prayer vigil will follow at 7 PM. Maria's funeral mass is at 10:00 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Msgr. John Anderson officiating. She will be laid to rest at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. PDF Printable Version
