Maria Consuelo Gomez-Esparza

Maria Consuelo Gomez-Esparza entered eternal life on June 6, 2006 in Las Cruces, after a valiant battle with numerous medical complications. Maria leaves behind a loving husband, Frank M. Esparza of Los Angeles, CA; four sons, Fred, Richard, Phillip, and Frankie; one daughter, Connie; two sisters, Maria Luz Herrera and Rosie Leon. Also surviving Maria are two brothers, Ray Gomez and Fred Gomez, many grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Maria most recently relocated from Los Angeles to Las Cruces, NM in order to be closer to her family. She was a loving wife, mother, and though she is gone, she will never be forgotten. She remains a vital part of our lives. "A bell is only a bell, if you ring it; A song is only a song if you sing it. Love was not put in your heart to stay, love is only love, when you give it away." She was and is love, and will be in our hearts forever. Sleep well, until we meet again, your family. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at Getz Funeral Home where the Prayer Vigil will follow at 7 PM. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 10 AM on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at Our Lady of Health Catholic Church, 1178 N. Mesquite, Las Cruces. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Francisco Oviedo O.A.R. Serving, as pallbearers will be Fred Gomez, Jose Luis Herrera, Joe Roman Herrera, Richard Herrera, Fernie Herrera and J.J. Maldonado. PDF Printable Version
