Margo Jane Rixey

On January 21, 2010 Margo Rixey was called back to the loving arms of our lord, she passed away at home with her loving husband, daughter, and Godson; Gary Rixey, Shanna Rixey and Mike Grenko by her side. Margo the daughter of Margery and Don Adams was born on September 3,1948 in Artesia New Mexico. Margo moved to Truth or Consequences in the summer of 1975 and quickly became a loved member of the community, and made Truth or Consequences her home. She met and befriended many persons in the town during her service with the local law enforcement agencies; as a commissioned officer with the Sheriff's department and as a dispatcher and investigations officer with the Police department. She also spent many years working with and in the community aiding in the medical offices of many of the local doctors and with various positions in the hospital where she helped many people in their time of need. Margo was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her kindness and love for the people of the community will be greatly missed. As per Margo's request there will be no services, and her ashes will remain with the family. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude for everyone who reached out to them in their time of need. The level and depth of the love and support given at this time of need has truly warmed our hearts and eased the pain during this time of grieving. PDF Printable Version
