Lynne Ellen Lack Shazo)

Lynne Ellen Lack of Las Cruces, NM was called home peacefully to be with her Lord on June 2, 2022, at the age of 84. Heaven is rejoicing her return and she is happy to be with her Lord and loved ones awaiting her return. Lynne was born in Truth of Consequences (Hot Springs), New Mexico to Stanley and Lynne Edna DeShazo. She attended Hot Springs High School and College. She married the love of her life John "Jay" W. Lack; together they had four wonderful Children, Brian Lack, Mary Merriman, Mandy Gillespie and James Lack (deceased). Lynne dedicated her life to her God and Family. Lynne and Jay were devout Christians and played a big part in opening Valley Christian Daycare and School in Albuquerque. They also supported missionary work around the world. Lynne is survived by her three children Brian, Mary (Larry) and Mandy, sister in law Hazel DeShazo, Grandchildren Wes (April) Lack, Jess (Leah) Lack, Michelle Peters, Robert Merriman, Nicolette (Grayson) Johnson, Sabrina Gillespie and Leyla (Sergio) Porras, great grandchildren; Katlin, Austin, and Kathryn Lack; Shaelyn and Landon Peters; Logan and Grady Lack; Emmitt and Kimberleigh Johnson; Levi Porras, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends, all of whom she loved dearly. Lynne was preceded in death by her husband John W. Lack, her parents Stan and Lynne Edna DeShazo, her son James R. Lack, son-in-law Danny Gillespie, brother Richard "Dick" DeShazo, in-laws John Lack and Bessie Kennedy. Lynne requested a private memorial with family. Memorial and arrangements will be done by Getz Funeral Home in Las Cruces NM. Lynne will be laid to rest in Hatch Cemetery next to her husband. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to your favorite charity or church. The family would like to thank everyone for their support and love during this crushing time, we will miss her wisdom, love and support greatly.
