Lydia Rodriguez

Lydia Cardon Rodriguez entered eternal life at her home in Las Cruces, New Mexico on May 5, 2018 surrounded by her family at the age of 81. She was born February 27, 1937 in Las Cruces, New Mexico to Ricardo Banegas Rodriguez and Leanor Cardon Rodriguez of San Ysidro, New Mexico. Lydia is survived by her two brothers Sammy and Raymond Rodriguez both from Las Cruces, New Mexico, five children son Danny Rodriguez and wife Sandy from Alamogordo, NM, daughters Yolanda Hawkins and husband Dr. Jamie Hawkins from Las Cruces, NM, Lucia Sanchez from Van Nuys, California, Teresa Lopez from Las Cruces, NM and Donna Ettinger and Fianc Bobby Lascano from Las Cruces, NM. Twelve Grandchildren Celestina Peru, Guadalupe Guerrero, Roman Guerrero, Bernadette Guerrero, Robert M. Cervantes, Nicole Sanchez, Vanessa A. Argueta, Willie Argueta Jr., Salvador Argueta, Anthony Nava, (Her Angel) Ambrosia Apodaca along with twelve great grand children and Numerous nieces and nephews. Lydia was passionate about gardening, cooking and baking. She loved to travel and play bingo. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, May 14, 2018 at Getz Funeral Home 1410 E. Bowman Ave. Las Cruces, New Mexico. Pastor Wayne White will officiate the Ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lydia's life.
