Lucille Wolf

Lucille Wolf, born on July 26, 1931, in Roswell, NM, passed away on December 6, 2024, in Las Cruces, NM. She was a dedicated administrator in the oil and gas industry and a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. Lucille was the cherished wife of Bill Wolf, with whom she raised her family in Roswell, NM, before relocating to Raton and eventually returning to Roswell.

Lucille was a loving mother to her three children, Charles, Char, and Chris Wolf. She is survived by her children, as well as her sisters Mildred and Lenora. Preceding her in death were her brothers William Jr. and Daniel and her sister Margaret. Lucille will be lovingly remembered by her five grandchildren, Wes, Andy, Jason, Ali, and Katie, and her six great-grandchildren, Sarah, Brenna, Tucker, Jaxson, Jase, and Carson, as well as her late grandchild Wade.

Throughout her life, Lucille engaged in many interests, most notably gardening and cooking. She was known for her incredible culinary skills, with a particular fondness for preparing green chile stew accompanied by butter crackers sprinkled with pepper. A lifetime member of the NRA, she was devoted to her local church and cherished every moment spent with family and friends. Her warm smile and welcoming nature left a lasting impression on anyone who crossed her path.

Lucille will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to resonate within the hearts of those she touched.
