Lily Helen Montoya 83, Sunday May 19, 2013 at Mountain View Regional Hospital in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Born November 15, 1929 in West Los Angles, California to Francisco and Felicitas Garcia and raised by her Uncle and Aunt Alejandro and Carolina Benavidez. Married on May 18, 1957 to Alberto (Chapo) Montoya in Tortugas, New Mexico. Lily loved to attend all grandchild and great grandchildren's sporting events and be their cheerleader. She also enjoyed sewing and making Halloween costumes for her grandchildren. She was known in Tortugas for her popcorn ball she gave out during Halloween.
