Marion G. Barber "Mow" Marion passed away, Monday, January 12, 2015 at the age of 94 years, in her home at Good Samaritan in Las Cruces. She was born in Findlay, Ohio, May 6, 1920, to Ilo and Ernest Barber. She had one sister, Gaynell, and one brother, Neil, both of whom preceded her in death. Marion married Harry Taylor in 1943, as Harry was serving in World War II. Together they had Harriet Ann "Teri" Bloxom (Ronald) and Barbara Taylor Wolflick (John). Harry died in 1958 and Marion Remarried in 1961 to Robert "Bob" Maier, until Bob passed away in 2004. She enjoyed her later years living at Good Samaritan, first at White Acres in El Paso, then moving to in Las Cruces in 2011. Marion Loved God's Creations: flowers, birds, the Organ Mountains and a blue sky. She appreciated and loved her neighbors and friends at Good Samaritan. Marion was a loving mom to her daughters and was grateful for her sons-in-law, Ron and John. She enjoyed being Mow (grandmother) to Jamie Noelle, J. Nicole, J.D., and Annie. She especially loved being Mow and great-grandmother to Stevie Rochelle, Sam Taylor, Henry David, Hunter Ronald, and Eli John. Marion was thankful for her extended family in Las Cruces - Joyce, Francis, and Amber Nolan. A Memorial Service will be held at the Chapel at Good Samaritan in Las Cruces, on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 3 PM. PDF Printable Version
