Ramiro C. Carrillo, a longtime resident of Picacho Village, NM went to be with his Lord on Friday, March 20, 2015 surrounded by his loving family in the comfort of his home. He was born on July 30, 1923 in El Paso Nacional, Durango, Mexico. He was born to Jose B. Carrillo and Maria Ceniceros. He was preceded in death by his wife Maria De Refugio (Cuca) Carrillo, his son Ramiro Carrillo Jr., his daughter Maria Luisa Pena (Licha) and granddaughter Sylvia Pena. Ramiro is survived by his daughters Josie (Pina) Reyes, Natividad (Nati) Cereceres and sons Robert (Bobby) Carrillo (wife-Corina) and Carlos Carrillo (wife-Angela). Ramiro is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and 7 great- great-grandchildren. During his lifetime Ramiro was a very loving and giving man who enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He was a man who went above and beyond to help others in need. Due to these qualities he was able to have a unique and loving relationship with each and every person that had the pleasure of knowing him. Pallbearers will be Jose R. Reyes, Javier Cereceres, Jesus Cereceres, Manuel Pena, Enrique Arzabal, and Carlos Carrillo. Honorary Bearers will be Ramiro Hernandez, Michael Pena, Luis Pena, Richard Arzabal and Steven Carrillo. A visitation for Mr. Carrillo will be on Tuesday March 24, 2015 at The Basilica Of San Albino from 1:00 p.m., to 1:30 p.m., where the prayer vigil and funeral mass will begin.
