Life Legacy

Feliciana Moreno passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on 5/13/17 in Las Cruces, NM at age 88. Feliciana was born in Zacatecas, Mexico where she spent all of her youth. She migrated to Juarez, Mexico as a young adult where she met and married Jose Pena Molina. The young couple immigrated to the United States in the late 1940's. After Jose's death, she remarried, to Manuel Moreno in Artesia, NM. Feliciana had 7 children. Among her many accomplishments, Feliciana was especially proud to become a US citizen. Feliciana raised all her children and household with compassion, love, tenacity and discipline. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and tending her many flowers. Feliciana is survived by her children; Maria Catano and husband, Refugio; Erma Natividad and husband, Cruz; Dr. Jose Molina and his wife, Dr. Paula Molina; Manuel Molina and his wife, Jennifer; Alfredo Molina and his wife, Mari; Martha Moreno and her husband Rafael. Her grandchildren include Anna and Refugio Jr Catano; Corina, Marivel and Michael Natividad; Kyle and Kristen Molina; Cassie, Macy, Eric and Triumph Molina; Joshua Molina; Steven and Christy Molina. She had 14 great - grandchildren. She is preceded in death by husband's Jose Molina and Manuel Moreno, and her son, Alfonso Molina. Feliciana has a viewing at Getz Funeral Home on May 17, 2017 from 5-7 PM followed by a rosary at 7:00PM at Getz Funeral Home. The mass will be celebrated on May 18, 2017 at 10:00AM at St. Genevieve's at 100 S Espina St, Las Cruces, NM. Interment will follow mass at Masonic cemetery. PDF Printable Version
