We are deeply saddened by the passing of Beverly Kathryn Springer, 77 of Las Cruces New Mexico, who died on Sunday August 24, 2014 at La Posada surrounded by her three beloved daughters Kimberly Granado of Las Cruces, NM, Jeanine Rego of Las Vegas, NV, and Lisa Lindvall of Sherman Oaks, CA. Born in Duluth, Minnesota, Beverly lived for many years in Colorado Springs where she worked at various electronic companies before settling permanently in Las Cruces as a home Heath Care provider and home maker. Known for making people laugh with her various voice impressions, she also cherished singing and candle making. Nice to a fault, she famously said "it's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice" and "you can always buy a new dress, but you can't buy a new face." She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew her. In addition to being survived by her three daughters, Beverly leaves behind her son-in-law Ray Granado of Las Cruces, NM; a brother, Thom Springer of Discovery Bay, CA, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Luetta and John Springer. A visitation will be held on Thursday August 28, 2014 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a rosary to follow at 2:00 pm., at Getz Funeral Home 1410 E. Bowman Ave, Las Cruces NM 88001. PDF Printable Version
