Life Legacy

Our Beloved mother and grandmother, Lucy C. White, 93 years old, of Las Cruces, NM, was welcomed to the Kingdom of Heaven on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at her home. Lucy was born in Las Cruces on July 24, 1922 to Maria Isabel Quintana and William Lovato. Lucy was the matriarch of her family. She devoted her life to taking care of her family. Lucy is survived be her son Dennis Lovato (Esther), and daughter Martha Lopez; grandchildren Christine Gamboa (Edward), Richard Legarreta, Debbie Legarreta, Dennis Lovato(Nancy), Kim Mendes (Jaime), Margo Lopez, Michael "Pablo" Lopez, and Evan Roman; 19 great grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren, many nephews, nieces and cousins. Lucy was preceded in Death by her father William, mother Mary, son Richard "Sonny" White, daughter Isabel "Wendy" Legarreta, and granddaughter Yvonne "Bonnie" Rivera. There will be a celebration of life for Lucy at Latter Rain Harvest Fellowship Church, 401 N. Main at 11:00 am Monday, July 11, 2016. Honorary Pallbearers are her grandchildren. Cremation has taken place, A private ceremony service will take place a later date. Cremation services were entrusted to the care of Getz Funeral Home, Las Cruces, NM.
