Life Legacy

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our father Crisoforo M. Barraza (age 65). He was welcome at the gates of Heaven by his wife, of 49 years, Yolanda and his youngest son Eddie Rey. He was born in Parral, Chihuahua and spent 41 years living in Fairacres, NM. He retired from New Mexico State University after 35 years of service at LineDecker Farms. The work he did in his life speaks for itself, as he was known and loved by many for his helpful and kind heart. Among everything else he was a jokester, always found ways to make us laugh. He took over his family after the passing of his wife and he provided for his kids beyond their expectations. He will be missed by all who knew him. He was the best father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend anyone could have. He is survived by his son Hector Barraza and daughters Cindy Barraza and Criselda Herrera. One brother Felix Barraza and two sisters Rita Barraza and Bertha Burciaga. Nine grandkids Vanessa, Matthew, Marissa, Pamela, Melissa, Aaron, Adrian, Darian, and Sofia and seven great-grandkids Mason, Mia, Mayleen, Jeremiah, Apollo and A'lea. He also leaves behind long time friends Felipe Flores and Teodoro Torres and godson Lorenzo Torres. He is proceeded in death by his wife Yolanda Barraza, son Eddie Rey Barraza, parents Soledad and Paciano Barraza, brothers Fausto and Oscar Barraza and sister Rosa Maria Chairez. PDF Printable Version
