Lewis Marshall Clower

January 30, 1936 — August 7, 2005

Lewis Marshall Clower, 69, of Las Cruces was born January 30, 1936 in Roanoke, VA; he left his family and friends on Sunday, August 7, 2005. Lewis will be greatly missed by his wife, Delfina Clower and daughter, Sylvia Clower, Richard Neal of Baton Rouge, LA. He is also survived by brother, Richard and sister-in-law Brenda Clower of Waldorf, MD. Surviving family members include: Nephews Mike Clower and Mark Clower, Niece, LeAnn Ayers of Waldorf, MD. Nephews residing in Las Cruces include: Joseph Lopez, Arthur Lopez and Stephen Patrick Chavez. He is also survived by in-laws Isabel Lopez, Victor Lopez, Ida Lopez, Bertha Hazen and Grand Nephews, Brandon, Gregory, Devon and Jaidyn. We take great comfort in knowing he is together in peace with departed parents William and Helen Clower. Lewis will always be lovingly remembered as a kind, generous and gentle husband, father, mentor and friend. A great man of honor, integrity and responsibility who had a wonderful sense of humor and a very tender heart. A celebration of Lewis's life to honor and remember him will be held at Getz Funeral Home, Friday August 12th, 2005 at 2:00 PM for all who knew, respected and cared for him. In lieu of material remembrances, the family suggests any donations in Lewis's honor be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training Program at www.active.com/donate/tntla/tntlasclower Please remember Lewis with a kind word or deed in someone in need.
